Since our formation in 1977, Sefton Theatre Company have consistently produced quality entertainment for the North West. Our aim is simple: to delight our audiences with a wide range of productions from the classics to modern, Shakespeare to Cooney.

Why Not Get Involved?
We are always looking for new members both to appear on stage and also to help with front of house and backstage during the run of our productions. Perhaps you've never acted before but always fancied giving it a go? Some of our best performers had never acted in their lives before joining but revealed superb acting talent they didn't even realise they had! We also run raffles to raise funds during our productions and any donations of prizes will be gratefully received.

'RUMORS' takes place in upper Manhattan at the home of Charley (deputy mayor of New York) and Myra Brock. The Brock's are holding a party to celebrate their 10th Wedding Anniversary. However, the first guests to arrive at their home, Ken and Chris Gorman, hear a gun shot. They find Charley upstairs bleeding from the head, Myra and the servants missing, and a bunch of frozen and half-thawed food in the kitchen. To prevent a scandal, Chris and Ken plot to keep the truth out and the fun starts when the other guests start arriving and everyone schemes to cover up the attempted suicide.
